Assistant Principal Renu Mendiratta

Greetings, Parents & Woodrow Community,

It is my tremendous honor to serve as the Vice Principal of Woodrow Wilson. I am privileged to be a part of such a wonderful community of students, teachers, staff, and parents. Over the years, I have worked closely with the Edison School District to provide an exceptional education that promotes not only the academic but also the social and emotional growth of all students. Woodrow holds a special place in my heart. At Woodrow, we believe in a diverse and Inclusive community, committed to empowering all students to be open-minded, value the process of learning, demonstrate resilience, display empathy, and build the confidence necessary to reach their highest potential.

I bring with me 16 years of middle school experience in the Edison Township Public School, most recently as the assistant principal. With a Bachelor's in Science and Education and Masters in teacher leadership and building leadership, I am proud to work in collaboration with teachers to provide high-quality instruction for our students. We recognize the importance of using a variety of teaching methods and approaches to meet the needs of all learners. This may include incorporating technology and differentiating instruction to meet the individual needs of each student. At Woodrow, we offer a wide range of extracurricular activities and sports that can be an essential part of a student’s overall education, as it provides them an opportunity to develop new skills, make new friends, and learn to work as a part of a team. In addition to these efforts, we strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement by providing access to counseling, tutoring, and academic support, as needed. Overall, our commitment to providing high-quality instruction, extracurricular activities, and student leadership opportunities is driven by a belief that every student has the potential to succeed, and we are dedicated to doing everything we can to help them reach their full potential.

By building strong partnerships with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders, we can provide an exceptional education that prepares our students for success in the future. Thank you for entrusting your child’s education to us.

I am excited to continue serving the Woodrow Wilson community and look forward to working with Mrs. Blevins, our staff, and all of you, to best to meet the needs of all our students and families and make this school year a success.

Go, Warriors!
