Our Mission

The Woodrow Wilson PTO is a non-profit Parent and Teacher Organization (PTO).  Our mission is to foster school and family social interaction and nurture a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students by providing social opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom.

PTO Funds 

Woodrow Wilson PTO sponsors many events such as the Staff Back to School Breakfast Meeting, Student of the Month breakfasts and awards, 8th grade Dance, student and parent assemblies, Coffee Chats for parents, Book Fairs, Community Service Day, Field Day, Career Day, teacher-appreciation activities, and teacher grants.

We also raise supplemental funds to help improve our school.  In years past, we have donated things like a new refrigerator for the staff, the digital bulletin board outside our school, camera, supplies for the beautiful art murals created by our students, and supplies to teachers for special projects.  

 It is our belief that the team effort of a parent-teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.

We Need Parents’ Support

Woodrow Wilson PTO is ONLY successful with the help of parents who:

  • Volunteer their time to help us with events

  • Donate and raise money 

  • Voice their opinions to make the school the best learning environment for our students

We need your help to create the best environment for our 1,200 plus student body.  Here are some things that you could do:

  • Join our PTO by donating $10 or more. https://forms.gle/PHwq8A2pm9ARDtUK8

  • Come to our online PTO meetings scheduled for 20232024:  9/26, 11/14, 12/12, 1/9, 3/5, 4/16

  • Volunteer to chair a committee, or even help out for a couple of hours for events like Career day, Community Service Day, Book Fair, and the 8th Grade Dance.  

  • Help with our fundraisers, where all profits go right back to fund Woodrow Wilson:

    • Buying School Spirit Wear such as Hoodies and T-Shirts.

    • Supporting your children in selling boxes of chocolate during our Sept/Oct chocolate fundraiser.
